hosted by Friends of Raymond, netted over $10,000 for the purchase
of the Raymond Battlefield. |

The Dupree-Ratliff House,
home of Jessie and Tad thrash, had over 500 visitors during the Tour
of Homes. All nine homes listed on the tour reported record crowds. |

and Richard Williams, members of the 1st U.S. Mississippi
Colored Infantry of Jackson, joined in the Raymond celebration. |

Lester Senter, assisted by
the "Bonnie Blue Singers" (Hinds Community College
Ensemble), performed a program of Civil War music to a delighted
crowd. |
